Happy 30th Chris!

Chris turned 30 on June 20th! Wahoo!! Now I don't feel quite so old anymore....
We had a great evening to celebrate. Everyone came and joined us to eat dinner at this little pizza place, then back to our house for some cake and ice cream. Nothing too fancy, but very fun. Hope you have a wonderful year and get all you wished for, Honey. And hope you know how much we love you and how lucky we are to have such a fun, loving man in our lives - husband and daddy!!
Thanks for taking the picture Alli. (Her & Derek were there to support, of course!)
The kids had a fun time playing together, as always.
The balloon after-party
The cousins beforehand, at dinner. So adorable.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CHRISTOPHER!!
WE LOVE YOU. XOXO.

West Gilgo - May 2012

Well this post is LONG overdue, but there were so many pictures it was overwhelming to get it up. So here we are finally.

Luke, Chris, Alli and I went to NY to visit Nani & Pop Pop at the end of May/beginning of June. It was a perfect trip and we had such a great time. So glad we got to go because we are having our baby girl right during the family reunion this year (August 6) so we will be missing it! :( How sad.

Alli flew out with me & Luke on Sunday night - to make it easier on my 30 week pregnant body (thanks so much for the help Alli), then she stayed for 4 days. Chris then flew out on Wednesday and stayed until Sunday and we flew back together. I was so glad Chris was able to come because it made the trip so great. We ended out getting perfect weather somehow. It rained for weeks before we got there, then our first day was perfectly sunny and in the 70s. So we got plenty of beach time, bike rides, lots of trips to the splash park, got to see Katie & Josh, AK & UR, and lots of fun playing with Hannah and Danny. Really wish we didn't all live so far away.
Luke loved Copper. Or should we say "pappa." He would wake up from his naps and first thing Luke would do is look for him. And Copper would sleep right outside Luke's door. Adorable.
Luke wanted to get in on the pedicures. Obviously a little confused, thought it was a phone...
Then it was Copper's turn to get groomed.
and a kiss to finish it off
Dad's night fishing catch! Luke was a bit wary.
Luke loved Pop Pop. Would follow him around and do everything with him. Definitely got the royal treatment.
Love this picture. Daddy and Luke.
The next generation of fishermen...starting him young. He was so intrigued.
Spent lots of time just hanging out, too. Which was perfect. Grandma and Gramps had so many great toys, Luke was loving it!
And loving playing with Nani Lolo. What a perfect Grandma.
Got to visit with Great Grandma Gerry 2x, such a great time. Luke loved her, and obviously she loved him so much as well. Fun to spend some 1-1 time with GG.
Really fun to go see Katie & Josh and to see everything they've done with their house. It's so beautiful. Their baby girl, Cora Mae, was born 2 weeks after we left. Really fun to see Lauren and Ryan and their kids as well. Luke had a grand time playing with Crew & Jane.
Thanks for being the perfect aunt, Alli. We love you!
Thanks Grandma & Grandpa for showing us such a great time. And for loving Luke so much. Even sharing your delicious salads with him. We love you so much and can't wait to see you again.
