Happy Halloween - 2012

Had a great Halloween this year. Here are the pictures to prove it:
Carved pumpkins with Julie & Lane. Lane taught us how to get with the program and carve cool pumpkins. (Except for mine, the traditional smiley, thought Luke needed one of those as well.)
Chris carved an awesome Buzz Lightyear since Luke is into him these days!

We went trick-or-treating with a bunch of friends. Luke enjoyed it much better than last year. Was a regular old pro by the end of the night.
He was so adorable saying "day-doo" after getting candy from each house.
A lot of "Ute" fans in Salt Lake where we live. Some were hesitant to give the BYU-boy candy :). But how could they resist that cute face?!
Daddy showing off his new little girl - who turned 3 months old on Halloween day.
Enjoying some candy at the end of the night, wrapper and all. Tired kids.

The Friday before Halloween we had our ward Trunk-or-Treat. First one I've been too, was a good time. Here's Luke with his friend Sam, pretty darn cute!

A very fun and festive Halloween! Hope yours was too!

BF's

Friends in the making. I love it.

Snowman

We finally made Luke's first Snowman after the big snow storm. And he really loved it. Sang the "Once There Was a Snowman" song, and that was quite a hit as well.
of course he wants the snowman to have a ball

ordinary life around here...
Colbie - 3 months old now
Just want to bite all those squishy rolls! Can you stand the cuteness?!
Luke is always so concerned about Colbie's non-stop drool. "A wipe, a wipe" he always says:). This is Luke wiping her drool off the couch.
Such a sweet big brother
Such great kids. So much love around here.

1st Winter Storm - 2012

We had our first big snow storm of the winter. And it lasted 2 1/2 days! Finally stopped snowing this afternoon and we measured 17 inches on our back porch. Really pretty, and luckily it was Sunday so we didn't have to go anywhere.
We lost one tree branch, and almost a second one by the end of it.
Luke was really excited to go out and play in the snow this year (as you can tell). Last year he definitely did not love it so much.
Colbie was super excited about it too...
Although it was Sunday, and Luke stayed home from church sick, we still went out and played for a bit. Of course!
A lot of snow!
Meanwhile, Daddy made us a delicious Sunday dinner and held down the fort with Colbie inside.
Then played some slam-dunk basketball with Luke

Great day all around. Love big snowstorms. Tomorrow night for FHE - SNOWMAN!
